Leslie Howard

Leslie Howard, 47, of Independence, MO was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Praise Tabernacle, 900 N. Bly Rd., Independence, MO. Visitation will precede services starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Les was born June 8, 1960 to Leslie L. and Patricia J. (Crow) Howard. He was a special person and friend to everyone he met. He was the perfect example of Jesus to all, touching their hearts with unconditional love and forgiveness. Little Les participated in Special Olympics and enjoyed other competitive sports. He is survived by his father Les Howard and step-mother Mary; brother Jay Howard and his wife Lori; nieces and nephews Cara, Alicia, Nick, Nathan, Alisha, Antonio, James and Rachel; step-sisters Shannon, Kim and Charlene. Little Les was preceded in death by his mother Pat , eight years to the same day, and sister Carrie.
