Avis Carolyn Huff

Avis Carolyn Huff, 64, Bates City, MO. died Jan. 8, 2006, at St. Luke�s Health Center. A memorial gathering will be held 6-8 pm, Thursday, Jan. 12, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Cardigan Welsh Corgi National Rescue Trust, c/o Tom Smith 2236 Warson Road, Springfield, IL 62704. Carolyn was born Dec. 16, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. She was a founding member, former President and current Vice President of the Three Trails Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club, and a member of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America. She had shown her dogs for over thirty-nine years. Carolyn also was an avid reader and loved to paint. She is survived by her husband Richard D. Huff, of the home; sons Thomas V. Stewart and wife Janet, Kansas City, KS; Scott W. Huff and wife Joy, Atlanta, GA: daughter Kristine D. Huff, Kansas City, MO; grandsons Joshua J. Huff and wife Kristin, Atlanta, GA; and Jason D. Huff and wife Stephanie, Parkville, MO.
