It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of our loved one, Abelardo “Ding” Hungriano, at the age of 62, who passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16 from 6- 8 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 and Friday, April 17 from 9 - 11 am at St. John La Lande Catholic Church, 805 N.W. RD Mize Rd. Blue Springs, MO 64014 followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am. Cremation. He was born September 24, 1952 and the youngest son to Carlos and Monina Hungriano in Quezon, Philippines. Ding is survived by his wife Lita of 40 years; his 5 children: Maureen (William) Marshall, Myra (Jason) Cordon, Audrey (Ajay) Segal, Mark Hungriano, and Marlon Hungriano; his 7 grandchildren as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anyone who met Ding will never forget his infectious sense of humor, big heart, and lively personality. No matter where he was, he carried himself with the happiness he gave others. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and charisma, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way until the end.
