Helen Margaret Thompson Huntsucker, 101, Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Six Mile Baptist Church; 26005 E. Blue Mills, Rd. Sibley, MO. Burial to follow at Six Mile Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Six Mile Baptist Church.
Helen was born August 28, 1909 in Independence, MO the daughter of John and Bertha Pearl (Childers) Thompson. She was a 1929 graduate of William Chrisman High School and attended the Six Mile Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Carl Huntsucker in 2004; son and daughter in law, Ed and Sondra Huntsucker; three sisters; and five brothers.
Survivors include her son, Gerald Huntsucker and his wife Cathy; daughters, Doris Kuchnsky and Louise O’Dell; sister, Laura Smeby; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
