Bill Hynds, 79, of Kansas City, MO went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 6:55 a.m. Bill was born to James and Pearl (Leith) Hynds February 15, 1932 in Carbon Hill, AL. He retired from Livers Bronze Company after 32 years as a Union Machinist for Sheet Metal Workers Local #2. He was a member of Blue Summit Baptist Church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and one brother of Carbon Hill; and his son William (Pud) W. Hynds of Kansas City. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joann; two daughters, Tina Faltynowski, Bridget and husband David Titus; son, Jon and wife Renae Hynds, all of Independence, MO; daughter-in-law Janice Hynds of Parkville, MO; son-in-law Billy Faltynowski of Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Beasley of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Services at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the chapel, with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
