Roger Inglish

Roger W. Inglish Independence, MO passed away at age 77 on February 23, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center after a long battle with lung cancer and COPD he is at rest.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Independence Animal Shelter.
Roger was born June 18, 1931 in Independence, MO the son of Cecil and Mary (Stephenson) Inglish. Roger attended elementary school in Atherton, MO and high school in Independence before entering the U.S. Navy, serving 4 years. Roger was employed for 37 years with Armco Steel before retiring. He enjoyed his freshwater fish tanks, woodworking, which he made rocking horses for his grandchildren. He will be missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; son Bruce A. Inglish; and great grandson Payton Lahn.
He is survived by his wife Sue Inglish; sons, Duane and Donald Vaughn; daughters, Nancy O’Neill, Diane Dove and Sheilah Vaughn; mother, Mary Inglish; sister, Carole Jones; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
