Wanda Lou Irwin

Wanda Lou Irwin, 78, Blue Springs, MO passed away Oct. 30, 2006 at Wilshire at Lakewood. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Grace Hospice.
Wanda was born Oct. 15, 1928 in Clinton, OK. She worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 35 years, retiring as a supervisor on March 1, 1983. Wanda loved her family very much and enjoyed time spent at her cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks. She also enjoyed bingo trips with her friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Deigh Irwin, sister Treva Jo Eklund, and mother Opal Prescott. She is survived by daughter Laura Hartung and husband Kenneth, Lee�s Summit, MO; son Jack Melton, Blue Springs, MO; brother Buford Eugene Farnsworth and wife Wanda, Midwest City, OK; grandchildren Keith Melton, Sean Meadors, Nicole Latham, Jason Meadors, Brent Melton; great-grandchildren Christopher, Courtney and Tara.
