Ronald “Bud” Isaac, 88, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Independence. The family will greet friends from 9:30 until service time Thursday at the church. Bud was born March 13, 1919 in Tulsa, OK to Earl and Bertha (Woods) Isaac. He was a self-employed bricklayer in Independence for over 60 years. He later worked at Mount Washington Monument and was a maintenance worker for the Muelbach Hotel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and bowling. He was a member, deacon, and former Sunday School teacher of the First Baptist Church of Independence and a member of the Masonic Lodge #76 AF&AM. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois (Woolston) of the home; a daughter, Judith Perry and her husband Ken of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Sam Isaac, of Santa Anna, CA; 3 grandchildren, Kristi Yohe, Nikki Calcara and her husband, Carl, and Lacy Perry; and 6 great grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy, Isabella, Francesca, Claudio and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Phillip.
