Connie Isaacks, 90 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday June 27, 2015 at the Groves Community Hospice. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made to Janey’s Toys. Connie was born February 22, 1925 in Webb City, MO to Claude Offut and Edith Annabelle (Bradford) Fry. She had worked as a registered nurse for many years at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital mostly on the 3rd floor surgical unit. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She was a devout member of the RLDS church. She volunteered gift wrapping for the Golda Meir Group for a number of years. She was a life member and past president of Hadassah where she was very active. She is survived by; a daughter, Minetta Isaacks of Independence, MO and a son, Wally Isaacks of Taylor, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace R. Isaacks in 1990.
