Jack Robert Wells

Jack Robert Wells, 15, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on August 18, 2023. He was born on November 16, 2007, the son of Mitchell Wells and April Huggins. Jack is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert Olson and his paternal grandparents Jack and Joyce Wells, and his sister Morgan Wells.
He is survived by his father Mitch Wells, his mother April Olson Huggins, his siblings Zoe (fiancé Nathan) and Cameron, nieces Emmy and Paisley, his maternal grandmother Dorothy Olson of Junction City, Kansas; his maternal aunts Lori Baker (husband Tim) and Jodi Kidney (husband Bryan), cousins Megan, Tim, and Erin.
Jack was about to start 10th grade at William Chrisman High School.  He loved riding his 4 wheeler, swimming and camping, fishing with Nathan, fireworks with Jesse on the 4th of July, and hanging out and getting muddy with his best friends Owen and Grady. He was a playful uncle to Emmy and Paisley. Always a helpful, loving, and protective son to his mom, but most of all, he loved hanging out with his dad, running errands and working on projects.
He will be remembered as always having the best smile. He could be quiet and shy, but also rambunctious and fun-loving. He was thoughtful and kind, always wanting to help others. He had a joy for living and actively lived life with an adventurous spirit.
