Martha Sue Jackson of Independence Missouri passed away on July 7, 2011. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin, MO. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the Kansas City Cancer Center, 4881 NE Goodview Circle Lee’s Summit, MO 64064. Martha was born December 7, 1933 in Malta Bend Missouri to Walter M. and Bertha Fowler Williams. Martha was a graduate of Malta Bend High School. She married to Sep L. Jackson of Franklin Missouri on February 28, 1959. She retired from Bearings Distributors in March of 1997. Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Sep, along with her parents Walter and Bertha and two brothers, Howard and William (Billy) Williams. Martha was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Kansas City, Kansas. Martha is survived by four nieces, Patricia Bosch of Blue Springs Mo., Pamela Drake of Marshall Mo., Janice Wyman & husband Roy of Lone Jack Mo., and Robin Jackson of Kansas City, Mo., one nephew, John Jackson & wife Terry of Kansas City, Mo., three great nieces, Stacy Garrett & husband Jason, Jennifer Nicholls & husband Jared and Shauna Frerking & husband Preston. She is also survived by three great nephews, John Wyman & wife Angie, Glenn Wyman and Bradley Wyman of Lone Jack Mo., and one great great niece, Chloe Garrett, along with several cousin and many wonderful friends.
