Sheri Jackson

Sheri Lea Jackson, 43, Odessa, MO passed away January 17, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Sat., Jan. 22, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO; cremation. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society of Greater Kansas City, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.
Sheri was born Aug. 8, 1967 in Kansas City, MO. She had most recently worked at Plastic Enterprises in Lee’s Summit, MO after working at the Tobacco House in Bates City and the U. S. Post Office in Kansas City. She loved camping, canoeing, fishing at Truman Lake, visiting state parks and zoos and especially loved kids.
Sheri is survived by her husband of twenty years Kenneth Jackson, of the home; son Josh Miller, Joplin, MO; daughter Jacinda Truelove and husband Patrik, Hartford, KS; sons Jacob Schaal, Overland Park, KS; L.J. Terry, Kansas City, MO; mother Virginia Lindquist and husband Leon, Joplin, MO; father Ralph Smith and wife Karen and brother Kirk Smith, all of Lee’s Summit, MO.
