Patricia May Jacobs, 80, Independence, MO passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at her home.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO.
Patricia was born April 14, 1930 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Francis A. and Nellie “Honey” (Hendricks) Hoban. She enjoyed being a homemaker, celebrating the holidays, and had a passion for reading novels.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jacobs, Sr. in 2002; son, John R. Jacobs in 2008; one sister and one brother.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen M. Jacobs and Patricia J. Haller; sons, Timothy Glenn Jacobs, Brent H. Jacobs, Drew P. Jacobs, Kevin C. Jacobs, and Marc P. Jacobs; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and sister Nellie Ganson.
