Robert Dale “Bob” Jacobs, 58, Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the TruFACES Fund, c/o TMC Charitable Foundation, 2310 Holmes. Ste. 735, Kansas City, MO 64018.
Bob was born August 23, 1951 in Wichita, KS, the son of Frederick Maurice and Wendy (Shadid) Jacobs. He was employed with Fosters Cleaners. Bob enjoyed sports, including baseball, softball, golf and pool.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony George Jacobs and his father.
Survivors include his mother, Wendy Jacobs; brother, Stephen Jacobs and his wife Mary Kay; sister, Debbie Jacobs-Huffaker and her husband John; three nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
