James Allen Arendt

James Allen Arendt, 76, of Independence, Missouri left this earthly world to be with his Lord and Savior on August 7, 2025, with his wife Barbara by his side. He was born August 23, 1948 to Lynn J and Bernice (Duncan) Arendt. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1967. Preceding him in death are his parents and sister, Joy Lynn Butler. 

James is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Arendt; son, Devin Arendt and wife Jennifer; two grandchildren of Illinois; nephew, Scott Kutchinson and wife Amy of Mississippi; many other nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life to take place at a later date.
