John Emory Jameson

John Emory Jameson, 68, of Independence, MO, passed away, Saturday, March 28, 2004 at his home. Military graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. John was born November 4, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO to Emory and Hulda Ann (McCann) Jameson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a Green Beret in the Korean Conflict from 1957-63. He was a member of the Shiner�s Club in Independence. He worked as a telemarketer for Pro-Tell for a number of years before he retired. He is survived by a sister in law Marilyn Jameson of Lake Tapawingo, MO; 6 nephews and 3 nieces.
