Margaret Jarrett

Margaret Lois (Rozgay) Jarrett, 73, of Sugar Creek, MO peacefully passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at her home. Memorial Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, Missouri 64052. Cremation, private inurnment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice. Margaret was born July 25, 1937 in Independence, Missouri to Mike “Blacky” and Anna Belle (Rivers) Rozgay. She graduated in 1955 from Northeast High School. Her grandchildren were the light of her life! She retired from the Department of Revenue as a Field Agent in 2003. Mrs. Jarrett is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Richard Jarrett; step-daughter Deborah Slattery and husband Jeff; step-son Richard Jarrett, Jr. and wife Vickie; and by eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Christy Lynn Wickman; and step-daughter Donna Miller.
