A graduate of Blue Springs High School, Jason embraced life with a humble spirit and an unassuming heart. He built his career with dedication, working for Batesville Caskets—a testament to his steady and reliable nature. Beyond his work, Jason found joy in the simple pleasures that seemed to define his existence. Whether he was engrossed in an episode of NCIS, savoring a cold Coca-Cola alongside his beloved Reese’s peanut butter cups, he celebrated life’s small blessings with genuine delight.

Jason’s passions extended into the great outdoors, where trap shooting and hunting were more than hobbies—they were moments of peace and connection to the world around him. The thrill of scratcher tickets and going to the boats and the rhythms of rock and country music brought an added brightness to his days. Above all else, Jason’s heart belonged to his family, where his love was felt deeply and his presence cherished.

He is survived by his devoted son, Parker Hall-Busick; his loving mother, Dorothy Busick; his brother, Robert Busick; his sister, Vanessa Harstadi; and his dear nieces, Abby and Aliva Busick. Their lives are forever touched by Jason’s gentle nature and steadfast love. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Busick, whose memory Jason carried with him always.
