Mary Jean Jeffreys (Rhodes)

Mary J. (Rhodes) Jeffreys, 94, Independence, MO passed away Oct. 8, 2017. Graveside services will be 10:30 am, Sat., Oct. 14 at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
Mary was born Dec. 21, 1922 in Buckner, MO and graduated from Buckner High School. She spent most of her life working in Civil Service for the U.S. Government, first in Hawaii during WW II and then at the U.S. Naval Yard in Long Beach, CA. She traveled all over the world and visited all seven continents on her journeys.
Mary is survived by niece Pam Cross and husband Jerry, Independence, MO; nephew Terry Rhodes and wife Karen, Larned, KS; sister-in-law Joyce Rhodes, Buckner, MO; nieces Robin Kerr and husband Craig, Austin, TX; Renee Marshall and husband Kenny, Lake Lotawana, MO and nephew Marty Rhodes, Springdale, AR.
