Allene Jessie Jenkins, 102, Gravois Mills, MO formerly of Kansas City, MO. Passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Friday, July 16, 2010 at St. Therese Little Flower, 5814 Euclid, Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. with a visitation to follow until 8:00 pm.
Allene was born May 18, 1908 in Richmond, MO the daughter of Jess and Nancy Hicks. She was a resident of Gravois Mills at Lake of the Ozarks for 42 years.
Allene was preceded in death by her husband; Robert C. Jenkins; son, Robert B. Jenkins and her sister, Christine Harrison.
Survivors include her son, Jack Jenkins and daughter, Nancy Vaughn, both of Gravois Mills, MO; ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
