Donald Keith Jenkins, 53, Kansas City, MO passed away Aug. 19, 2009. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at
Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 �" 8 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
Donnie was born April 8, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in the Fairmont area and graduated from Van Horn High School in 1974. He as was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked at Hallmark Cards for fifteen years, enjoyed hunting, fishing, Royals baseball and football.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father Keith Jenkins and sister Kim Renee Jenkins. He is survived by his son Timothy Alan Jenkins, Kearney, MO; mother Donna Jenkins, Independence, MO; sister Kellea Heflin, Lake Ozark, MO; brother Mike Jenkins and wife Deanna, Wellington, MO; sisters Lori Jenkins; Jessica Jenkins, both of Independence, MO and two grandsons.
