Orville Jack Jenkins, 80, Gravois Mills, MO passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Laurie Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 19, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Jack was born January 11, 1930 in Kansas City, MO the son of Robert and Allene (Hicks) Jenkins.
He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Jack retired in 1999 from Gooch Brake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donita Joy Jenkins in 2005; brother, Bob Jenkins and his parents. Survivors include his sons, Jim C. Jenkins and Ronald Jenkins; daughter, Penny Jenkins; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and his sister Nancy Vaughn.
