Melissa “Missy” Jennings, 40, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Dec. 22, 2011. Services will be 10 am, Friday, Dec. 30 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm, Thursday at the chapel.
Missy was born June 27, 1971 in Independence, MO and was a life long resident of the area. She graduated from William Chrisman High School. She most recently attended Sheffield Life Assembly. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Missy is survived by her son Levi Jennings, Lee’s Summit, MO; mother Mary Jennings, Independence, MO; father George Jennings, Climax Springs, MO; brother Steve Parker and wife Rita, Holden, MO; sister Michelle Wood and husband Greg; brothers Randy Parker; Rick Jennings; Matt Jennings; twin sister Chrissy Jennings, all of Independence, MO; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she was very close to.
