Karen I. Jessick, 49, of Buckner, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at her home.
Karen was born on Aug. 31, 1958, to William and Neva (Loveall) Tracy in Independence. She had been a cashier for the Casey's General Store in Buckner for several years. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter who enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, watching area sports and playing bingo with her mother. She had attended the Fellowship of God Church.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, William and a brother, Kent.
She is survived by her husband Buddy Jessick; a son, Clayton Jessick, both of Buckner; mother, Neva Tracy of Blue Springs, Mo., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 1 p.m., Mon. Jan. 28, 2008 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO with the visitation from noon until service time at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Clayton Jessick Education Fund c/o 1st National Bank in Buckner, MO.
