Katherine John

Katherine Corrine John, 45 of Blue Springs, passed away, Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Research Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the St. John’s Cemetery in Bellevue, NE. Katherine was born April 16, 1963 in Omaha, NE to James L. and Patsy K. (Zulfer) Bailey. She spent her early life in Nebraska but graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, MO in 1981 and had attended Penn Valley College. She had worked as a Medical Records Coding Analyst for Research Medical Center. She enjoyed her work and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Diofilos John. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Natalia John of Independence, MO and Sonia John of Blue Springs, MO; her mother, Patsy Bailey of Bellevue, NE; 4 sisters, Audrey Topping of Springfield, MO, Susan Dilallo of St. Louis, MO, Tracy Bailey and Nancy Meyer both of Blue Springs, MO and a brother, James Bailey of Olathe, KS.
