On August 13, 2025, I John (Jack) Alfano passed away.
I was a grandson
I was a son
I was a brother
I was a friend
I was a husband
I was a father
I was a grandfather
I was a Great Grandfather
I was a Patriot who loved his Country
I was a Christian who loved his Lord!
Of the above duties and trusts I have been charged with, all equally important, I have fulfilled them with deep devotion and love

John “Jack” Thomas Alfano, born on October 5th, 1934 in Hazelton, PA and passed away on August 13th, 2025 in Independence, MO at the age of 90.
Jack is preceded in death by his father Rudolph LaMara Alfano, his mother Ida Marcella Watts Alfano and his brother Michael LaMara
He is survived by his wife and soulmate Winifred Alfano, his sister Frances LaMara Superczynski (Skip), three daughter’s Sandra Lewis (Greg), Victoria King (Michael) and Tracey Alfano-Douty (Craig); two son’s Anthony Alfano (Jean) and Richard Alfano (Cathy).
Additionally, he is survived by 13 grandchildren: Jake Lewis, Jennifer Lewis Medellin, David Lewis, Sam Lewis, Micah King, Daniel King, Jessica King Thomas, Mitchell Douty, Taylor Douty Jones, Sarah Alfano Waguespack, Jeremy Alfano, Joseph Alfano and Megan Alfano Evans and 26 Great Grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held in October at the Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
