Toby Tobin

Toby Tobin, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and longtime voice in the Kansas City community, passed away surrounded by the family he loved.

His professional accomplishments were many, but those who knew Toby best understood that his greatest legacy cannot be measured by titles, broadcasts, or public recognition. It is found instead in the relationships he built, the trust he earned, the people he encouraged, and the family whose name and traditions he carried with such pride.

Toby was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jean Tobin, whose influence and values remained an important part of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Joe Tobin; his daughter, Lisa Varriano; his son, Brian Tobin; and his five siblings, Cathy Gordon, Jan Platz, Lynne Tobin, Mark Tobin, and Gary Tobin, together with his extended family and the many friends, colleagues, listeners, clients, and members of the Kansas City community whose lives he touched.

Private family services will be held.
