Monte Johnson

Monte L. Johnson, 84, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by his family. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was an active and faithful member of the Community of Christ. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jean (Aid) Johnson; daughter Ruth Holloway and husband Terry; son Robert Johnson and wife Sherry; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
