D. Louise Jones, 81, Independence, Mo. died Dec. 18, 2004, at John Knox Village. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Carson-Speaks Midtown Chapel; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Wed., Dec. 22, at the funeral home. An Eastern Star ceremony will be held at 7:30 pm, Wed. The family suggests contributions to the Blue Ridge Boulevard Christian Church Memorial Fund. Louise was born to Oda Ethel (Smart) and William Sheridan Holmes July 28, 1923. She married William Edmund Jones on June 19, 1943. She sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for 22 years and was very active in the Blue Ridge Boulevard Christian Church and the Eastern Star Lodge. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years in Feb., 2004; a sister Frances Harris and brother Bud Holmes. She is survived by sons Wayne Edmund Jones and wife Kathy, Bonita Springs, FL; Barry Joseph Jones and wife Phoebe, Indep., MO; Dwayne Charles Jones and wife Brenda, Lee�s Summit, MO; daughter Wilma Louise Jones White, Grain Valley, MO; sister Virginia Edwards. Louise was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. She also enjoyed nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family and friends and appreciated their help.
