Eunice D. Baranowski Jones, 66, passed away at her home in Fulton, Texas on Monday, April 4, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Mount Washington Cemetery; 614 S. Brookside Ave. Independence, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. She was born November 14, 1944, in Stoutland, MO where she was a 1961 graduate of Stoutland High School. Eunice met George E. Jones from Independence, MO, and they married November 9, 1963. She worked at Olin Manufacturing in Independence, MO, retiring from there in 1999. Eunice had a special love for animals. She enjoyed children and cared for them in her home. She spent many hours in her garden, growing plants and doing numerous craft projects.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lettie Baranowski, her sister Joan Messer and brothers John and Lawrence Baranowski.
She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, George and daughter, Bekkah from Fulton, Texas, sisters Ruth Worley, Marie Henson (Charles), Evelyn Barnes (Francis), Norma Avery (Jerry), Edith Hurley (Joe) all from Missouri and Louise Lackey (Paul) from Kansas, brothers Dwight Baranowski (Vivian), Frank Baranowski (Chris), James Baranowski, an uncle Bobby Stewart along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and other family and friends in Missouri and friends in Texas
