Garrett Jones

Garrett Jones, 91, of Independence, MO passed Sept. 2, 2011. Visitation 9-10:00 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. service Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Farview Restoration Branch, Independence, MO. Burial in Seymour, MO at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. He was born January 20, 1920 in Yakima, Washington to Irvin George Jones and Hazel Jones. Garrett is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Laura Mae (Durst) Jones; three children, Irvin Jones, Garrett Jones Jr. and Diana Bender; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Roy Lee Jones.
