Lanita Fern Jones

Lanita F. Jones, 88, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, at Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Northcare Hospice. Lanita was born on October 13, 1915 in Bay Minette, AL to Herbert and Doris Page. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vollie T. Jones; and two sisters, Wilma Settles and Juanita Jenkins. Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Mason; one son, Flint Jones; one sister, Juaree Cook; and one brother, Gerald Page; three grandchildren, Victor Mason, Vincent Mason and Justin Jones; and three great grandchildren, Justin Jones, Garrett Mason and Grace Mason.
