Michael F. “Mike” Jones, 68, Independence, MO passed away April 3, 2009. Memorial services will be 10 am, Friday, April 10 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; cremation. Visitation will begin one hour before service time.
Mike was born Jan. 10, 1941 in Springfield, MO. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and was a member of the VFW and DAV. He was an electrical technician at Independence Power & Light and retired in 1987.
Mike is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Doris Jones of the home; brother Bob Jones, Mansfield, MO; and sister Sharon Jones, Oak Grove, MO.
