Patricia Ann "Pat" Jones

February 21, 1943 — March 10, 2007

Patricia Ann (Rackers) Jones, 64, Independence, MO passed away early Sat. morning March 10, 2007 at her residence, after a five-year battle with cancer. A ceremony for family and friends will be held 2 pm, Wed., March 14, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th St & Hwy. 291, in Independence; Graveside services will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Patricia "Pat� Jones.
Pat was a native of Jefferson City, MO for twenty-two years, before residing in Independence, MO with her beloved husband of 43 years, Ronald Calvin Jones. Pat spent the better part of her career in the insurance industry, retiring from GEHA of Independence. Pat was very family-oriented, enjoyed spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Dina Rackers and brothers Ronald & Robert Rackers. She is survived by her husband Ron, of the home; four daughters: Rhonda Bock & husband Allen, Lawrenceville, GA; Sherri Brisbin; Lisa Morgan-Wilson; and Janice Jones; all of Independence; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six brothers & sisters: Kenneth Rackers, Taos, MO; Shirley Gretlien; Joan Hagner; Diana Heidbreder; Carl Rackers; all of Jefferson City, MO; and Albert Rackers, Largo, FL.
