Tami Lynn Jones

Tami Jones, 50, of Independence, MO passed away October 28, 2017. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Tami was born February 7, 1967 in Independence, MO. She attended Blue Springs High School. Tami was passionate about all animals, but had a special love for horses, and so enjoyed watching the horse races on television. She was preceded in death by her father, DeWayne Jones Sr.; grandparents, Sam and Gertrude Cordill, Haile and Isabel Jones. She is survived by her mother, Linda Jones; one brother, DeWayne “Kip” Jones Jr.; nephew, William Jones and wife Meagan; niece, Shey Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles and family members.
