Joshua Leo Poli, age 43, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away September 14, 2025 with his devoted wife Vaiolini by his side.
Josh was born on June 25, 1982, in Kansas City, MO. He was a man who valued faith, family, and football, and his life reflected that devotion. He lived each day with laughter, generosity, and love, always putting others before himself—even when his body was at its weakest.
Josh’s life was a testament to strength, service, and love. His greatest passion was guiding and supporting the next generation having mentored hundreds of youth through coaching, church service and his professional life. His legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
Whether coaching, cheering on his boys, serving in his church and community, or sharing his humor and love, Josh made an impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Josh is survived by his loving wife, Vaiolini, and their four sons: Ezias (18), Iousa (13), Pierce (11), and Kingston (10), who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his father, Fuata’i Poli, and his siblings Fuata’i Poli Jr. (Molly), Justin Poli (Elle), James Poli (Ericka), and Justina Moffett, along with many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Julina Poli.
