A proud graduate of Tunas High School, Joyce furthered her education at SMSU in Springfield, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. She was an avid reader, and she loved to travel extensively around the globe gathering experiences and stories that she shared with her friends and family. Joyce dedicated her time volunteering at her church and with the Community Services League, demonstrating her commitment to giving back. A proud member of the Red Hat Society, she earned the cherished title of "Queen Mother" of the Red Hat Road Runners in Buckner, Missouri, where she forged many lasting friendships.
