Judy Ann Rash passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the age of 84. Judy was born to William and Lottie (Blackwell) Thornton on June 7, 1942 in Marshall, Mo.

After graduating from William Chrisman High School Judy started a family and spent most of her life as a devoted mother, wife and homemaker. She loved her family fiercely and never missed an opportunity to be present in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Judy liked solving jigsaw puzzles, and listening to Elvis Presley tracks. She was known for her cake decorating skills and was able to create beautiful delightful cakes for special occasions.

Judy was funny, witty, and outspoken. She was fun to be around, never held back from telling you what was on her mind and will be missed immensely by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Christine Baldwin and Tim Rash (Karen); grandchildren, Brianna Ferguson (Colton), Josh Rash, Sierra Hooks (Jonathan), Austin Rash (Jillian) and Amanda Rothove; great-grandchildren, Bryar, Stetson, Keira, Raia, Zayden, Marleigh, Benson, Shepherd, Kingsley, Waylon, Ruger and Wesson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Evelyn Clause.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Marshall, Missouri.
