Justen Eric VanNatta, born in Independence, was a man of many talents throughout his life. His career as a concrete finisher and construction worker showcased his skill in the industry, but Justen's versatility extended to being a jack of all trades and even a talented body piercer.
Those who were fortunate enough know him will remember Justen for his friendly demeanor and kind spirit. He had a passion for music that was evident to anyone who saw him tapping his foot along to a favorite song. He found solace in the great outdoors, spending time fishing, hunting, and feeling the wind on his face while riding his beloved motorcycle.
One of Justen's most remarkable qualities was his adventurous spirit, exemplified by his love for activities like skydiving. He embraced thrills and challenges with courage and enthusiasm.
Tragically, Justen Eric VanNatta's time with us came to an unexpected end on March 22, 2024. In the wake of this profound loss, he is survived by grieving family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Justen is survived by his parents; Mary Ann VanNatta, James “J.E.” and wife Brenda VanNatta; children; Emylee Kay Ann Reynolds, Jaden Eric VanNatta, Jeremiah Eric VanNatta, Johnathen Edwin VanNatta; sister, Ann Bartkoski and husband Chris; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jason VanNatta; grandparents, Ed and Betty VanNatta and Mary Jane and Howard Davis.
Cremation is planned, services are not scheduled at this time. Justen's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him best, serving as a reminder to embrace life's adventures wholeheartedly. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the echoes of laughter from days gone by.
