Geraldine Kalhoefer

Mrs. Geraldine Kalhoefer, 91, of Independence, MO passed away August 16, 2009 at The Groves. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Friday, August 21, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Gerry was born January 6, 1918 in Independence, MO to Samuel Henry Fields and Mary Myrtle (Willis) Fields. She was always proud to say that she was a charter member of the South Crysler Restoration Branch. The love for her church and family were mutual. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar “Kal” Kalhoefer; brother, Henry-Moore Fields; sister, Mary Edmunds; daughter, Willdine Nolan; and granddaughter, Robin Nichols. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jerry Dike; grandsons, John Gabbert and wife Melissa, Joseph Swaim; and two great grandchildren, Alex and Jaxon.
