Kathleen Sue Halcro

Kathleen Sue Halcro, 81 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at CenterPoint Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at the St. Mary’s Church (600 N. Liberty Street) with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:30 am until service time Friday at the church. Kathleen was born March 9, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Jack Malcomb Halcro and Alberta (Huettenmueller) Halcro and has been a life-long area resident. She graduated as class Valedictorian from St. Theresa’s Academy in 1962. She had served as archivist and researcher for The Jackson County Historical Society Archives.
