Kathryn Pearl Walls

Kathryn Pearl Walls, 76, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Kathryn was born to Gearl and Lennie Walls on July 29, 1947 in California, Missouri.

After graduating from William Chrisman High School Kathryn landed her career with Southwestern Bell telephone company. She was a telephone operator for over 32 years before retirement. Kathryn was the oldest of 6 children so she was a natural caregiver her entire life. She may not have had any children of her own but she was a “Mother” to many. Kathryn was a selfless person. She was friendly and outgoing yet direct and a “take charge” type of personality. She enjoyed baking and looked forward to making goodies around the holidays. Kathryn’s memory will forever be etched into the hearts of those she loved.

Kathryn is survived by her siblings, Judy Harris, Layton Walls (Diana) and Donna Gabbert (Ron); dear friend, Sharon Tresenriter and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Connie Bisges and brother, Garland Walls.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11^th at 2pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
