Mary Keck

Mary Virginia Keck, 92, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at John Knox Care Center. Cremation. Graveside services to be held at Forest Hill Cemetery to be announced at a later date. Contributions may be made to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ or the charity of choice. Mary was born September 12, 1915 in Kansas City, MO to Fred W. and Flora May (Davis) Keck. Miss Keck worked for W.H. Collins Investment Co. for over thirty years before retiring from Commerce Bank. She was a life-long member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. She belonged to the Westport Historical Society, Alexander Majors Historical Foundation, and the Kansas City Secretaries Club. Mary is survived by her nieces Diane Tait, Kathlene Keck Meyer; nephews Clarence F. Hunter, Jonathan W. Keck and Martin W. Keck. She was preceded in death by her sisters Fern Hunter, Louise Schmidt, and brother Martin F. Keck.
