Janet Ruth Keeney (Fetters)

Janet R. Keeney, 69, Independence, MO died at home Sept. 14, 2015 surrounded by family, friends and her husband of forty-eight years, John F. Keeney. No services are planned; cremation. The family requests contributions to Cancer Action, 4010 S. Lynn Ct. Dr., Independence, MO 64055. Janet was born April 17, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. She worked at Honeywell for twenty-six years and retired in 2014. She was a member of the Aerospace Machinist Union and a Catholic. Janet was preceded in death by son John Charles Keeney. She is survived by daughters Carol McClain, Stacy Knapp and husband Chad; grandchildren Adam McClain, Jessica Voss, Ericka Schweisberger, Anthony Bean, Little John Keeney; sisters Claudine Blue, Mary McLaughlin, Betty Graham, Peggy Brown; brothers Bill Fetters, Edward Fetters, Virgil Fetters and many nieces, nephews and friends.
