Wanda Keesee

Wanda Ellen Keesee, 68, of Independence, MO, passed away on September 29, 2014. A Celebration of Life Picnic will take place on October 4, 2014, from 1:00 pm until sunset at Village Heights Community of Christ Church, 1009 Farview Dr, Indep., MO 64055. Wanda was born on February 28, 1946 to Wilton and Lillian (Stoops) Marek. She attended Blue Springs High School and Central MO State University, and retired after 27 years as a Supervisor in the Circulation Department in the library at CMSU in Warrensburg, MO. Wanda lost her 1st husband, Eudeail “Buck” Moore, in 1998. After moving to Independence in 2000, she met and married her second husband Ellis Loren Keesee on April 21, 2001. After retirement she worked for the Mid-Continent Public Library. Wanda enjoyed reading, gardening, and any activities that would take her outside, especially fishing. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Delores Survivors include; husband, Ellis Keesee; children, Larry Moore (Jennifer), Loren Moore (Melissa), Lonny Moore (Cheryl), Cheryl Hancock (Jon), John Keesee (Penny), and Ron Keesee (Carolyn); 5 brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and her special pets.
