Elizabeth Keil

October 31, 1926 — June 2, 2010

“Betty” Elizabeth Keil, 83, of Kansas City, MO, went to her Father in Heaven on the blessed evening of June 2, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband Fred Keil of 60yrs; daughters Sherril Lines, Janet Bendure and Jane Fuller; as well as daughter-in-law Paula Keil. Her Mother, Father, Brother, 3 Sisters and her loving son Fred Lee Keil preceded her in death. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of William Chrisman High. Before getting her drivers license she was co-owner of a small airplane & flew frequently. She joined the Marine Corp just before the Korean War, but never served active duty as her life and family with Fred began. She was a Representative of the Fuller Brush Co. for more than 20 yrs, and later joined the ABWA where she received “Woman of the Year 2005” from the East Jacomo Charter Chapter. She attended Rockwood Baptist for many years, having been a Sunday School Teacher. The last 10 yrs she spent as a member of the Norfleet Baptist Church. She is a shining star in Heaven. Please make donations to the City Union Mission. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
