Oscar W. Kelemen, Jr. 87, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010.
Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Trust Account for the Mentally Challenged, c/o Commercial Bank of Oak Grove, 1114 S. Broadway, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
Junior was born December 19, 1923 in Rock Island, IL the son of Oscar and Ada (Butler) Kelemen. Survivors include his loving wife Maxine; daughters, Sandra Myren and her husband Richard, Rita Mae Moore, Cynthia Sue Moore, Deborah Rice and her husband Ennis and several grandchildren. Junior was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty in 1990 and his parents.
