Patrick Kelley

Patrick James Kelley, 60 of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday January 27, 2012 at his home. Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Donations may be made in his name to Holy Cross Catholic Church 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123. Pat was born September 1, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to James J. and Mary Jo (Thielen) Kelley and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from De La Salle High School in Kansas City, MO in 1970. Pat was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing and motorcycle riding with his brother Wayne. Pat is survived by; his mother, Mary Jo Kelley of North Kansas City, MO; brothers and sisters, Irene and Roland King of Temecula, CA, Jerry and Leslee Kelley of Raymore, MO, Wayne and June Kelley of Joplin, MO, Juanita and Larry Paddy of Shawnee, KS, Michael Kelley and Bunny Shelden of Blue Springs and Teresa and Jerry McNeal of Lone Jack, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his loving companion Carol Simmonds. He was preceded in death by his father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
