Karen Kellner

Karen Jo Kellner, 59, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Carson-Speaks. Cremation. Karen was born December 14, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to John and Audrey (Hessee) Kirk. Mrs. Kellner was known for her warm and compassionate care for others. She enjoyed working for the Salvation Army in recent years. Karen enjoyed all types of crafting in her spare time. Mrs. Kellner is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dale Kellner; daughter Angela Farris; grandchildren Myranda, Johnathan and Megan Farris; great-grandchildren Mason Moreno, Mykal Farris; sisters Donna Starr, Johnetta Wheeler; brother Sonny McIrvin. She was preceded in death by her father John Kirk; sister Vicki Gifford.
