Diane M. Kelsey, 57 of Independence, MO passed away, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at NorthCcare Hospice. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made to NorthCare Hospice 2800 Clay Edwards Dr., North Kansas City, MO 64116. Diane was born August 17, 1954 in Oklahoma to Harry D. and Myrtle M. (Baker) Worley. She has worked most recently as the club room manager for the VFW post #3976 in Sugar Creek, MO. She enjoyed working at the VFW and fishing. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge #3717 both in Sugar Creek, MO. She was married to Leon Kelsey on October 17, 1998; he survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Marsha Dedrick and husband Richard of Blue Springs, MO and Misty Grimes of Independence, MO; 2 sons, Mark Kelsey of Independence, MO and Matt Kelsey of Buckner, MO; her parents, Harry and Myrtle Worley of Warsaw, MO; siblings,, Pauline, Paul, Joe, Larry and Earl and 6 grandchildren, Lexi, Kaleigh, Dakota, Zachary, Kylie and Zoe.
